PILL PACKAGING RECYCLING

Do you have empty medicine blister packs? Did you know these can’t be recycled in your household waste? Would you like to recycle them?

Perry Parish Council is trialling a pill packaging recycling scheme.

A red wheelie bin will be placed in the bus shelter (next to The Wheatsheaf) on Wednesday 30th July. It will be there until Thursday 31st July.. Packaging deposited will then be sent to a recycling company.

This is for empty blister packs ONLY. Please DO NOT deposit expired medicines or EpiPens (take these to a pharmacy), bottles, syringes, medical waste, cardboard packaging or general litter.

Unfortunately we are unable to collect packaging from individual households, and please DO NOT bring it to the council offices.

If this pilot is a success future dates will be advertised. If you need further details, or would like this flyer in larger print, please contact the clerk via clerk@perryparishcouncil.gov.uk or on 074129 78476.
